someone really commented "this is illegal" on a post about blocking weapons shipments to israel...and there was another person saying "finally someone pointed out you could go to jail for this". i'm losing my fucking mind. there is no legal avenue to stop what the US government is doing and you need to accept that at this point.
The legal way would to be call your representatives and tell them to stop sending weapons and demand a ceasefire. People have been doing that for a month in record numbers in fact. So much so it's driving congressional staffers mad. The congressmen and senators response is to the nonstop calls is let the calls go to voicemail. So what's left? Waiting til next year to vote? For who? The party that's moderately pro-zionism that is currently enabling a genocide or the party that is even more feverishly pro-zionism? Voting is not an option plus by then it would be too late anyway. They can keep peacefully protesting. But those are being ignored too and even being banned on many college campuses. There is nothing else legal that can be done. I'm not going to tell people to break the law but I'm not going to tell people to sit around and keep doing shit that isn't working either.
